Among the many features setting the Chico School Of Rock aside from other music programs is real Rock Shows where students are the stars! Twice a year CSOR holds a popular Student Concert with the whole works: lights, sound system, and screaming fans.

Although attendance is always voluntary (“no one should ever be forced to play” says Sid), the program is always packed with over a dozen students and several “Kid bands”.

The CSOR student Concerts have been giving children a chance to play for their friends and family since 2004, and have inspired many of the students to form their own groups (see our Band Builders program, where we teach children to form a band with their friends).

All students of the Chico School Of Rock are welcome to play, and may perform solo, along with their instructor, or in a group of their choice. We ask that parents of children expressing a desire to perform please make sure their child is signed up at our online Concert Signup, to guarantee their space.
